Requirements:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in construction project management of wood-frame and/or concrete residential projects
- Local experience and, or, knowledge of the Vancouver and Lower Mainland construction industry preferable
- Experience in construction estimating including ability to carry out detail quantity take-offs of concrete, lumber, excavation, and back fill, etc.
- Ability to prepare sub-contract scopes of work, call for trade pricing, prepare detailed summary of sub trade prices and prepare sub-contracts
- Ability to work with site superintendents, and to coordinate, and manage projects from start to completion
- Good communication and conflict resolution skills
- Establish construction schedules and lead times, co-ordinate, update and modify project schedules
- Prepare two week look ahead schedules and push trades to meet target dates
- Knowledge of Office, including Microsoft Projects
- Local engineering degree, BCIT Building Technology or related education is an asset
- Experience with LEED building requirements is desirable
